Using your mould well
Four steps to get your recipes right from the very first batch.
-
Place it on a baking tray or rack
Silicone is flexible: set on a rigid support before filling, the mould is easy to move.
-
Fill to three-quarters
For loaves, sponges and other mixtures that rise, fill each cavity no more than about three-quarters full.
-
Bake, or place in the cold
Follow the temperature and time in each recipe, most often between 170 and 180 °C in a fan oven. Never go above +230 °C.
-
Let it rest, then turn out
Respect the resting time in the recipe, then gently push the base of the cavity. For frozen desserts, follow the freezing time given before turning out.
Cleaning and care
A few simple habits keep your mould in good shape.
-
In the dishwasher
The mould is dishwasher safe. You can also simply wash it in warm soapy water.
-
No abrasive sponges
Avoid scouring pads and abrasive products, which could mark the silicone.
-
No sharp objects
Do not cut your bakes inside the cavities: turn them out first, then slice.
